Hilary Duff's Cruelty-Free 'Stuff'

Pop princess Hilary Duff may be selling out stadiums on her “Still Most Wanted” tour this summer, but she hasn’t sold out her animal friends. We’ve just gotten word that the teen sensation’s cosmetics line is cruelty-free! Manufactured by Townley Cosmetics, Stuff by Hilary Duff has received PETA’s seal of approval because none of the products are tested on animals. Recently crowned “The Power Girl” on Teen People’s coveted “25 Hottest Stars Under 25” list, Hilary is obviously using her power for good.

Townley Cosmetics, which also makes the hugely popular Hello Kitty, Power Puff Girls, and Earth 2 Jane collections, as well as retro faves Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, and My Little Pony, has signed PETA’s “Statement of Assurance” promising that it will not conduct animal tests. Townley joins more than 500 companies that have made the switch from cruel and outdated animal tests to non-animal methods to ensure that their cosmetics, personal-care products, and household products are safe.

Where Can I Get This ‘Stuff?’

Townley products are easy to find in any town. Target, Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Mervyn’s, Limited Too, Hot Topic, and Club Libby Lu all carry Townley brands. The best way to let companies know that you won’t support animal testing is by using your pocketbook to support Townley and other companies that refuse to test on animals, sending a clear message that beauty doesn’t have to have an ugly side. Join the Animal Savings Club today!
